J'ai découvert la photographie sur le tard, presque par hasard. Une révélation.
Très vite, le noir & blanc et le format carré s'imposent pour moi comme une évidence. De par sa force et sa sobriété, le noir et blanc va à l'essentiel. Quant au format carré il est une mine d'or géométrique et offre de multiples combinaisons et compositions possibles.

Mes choix photographiques se sont portés naturellement vers des compositions plutôt minimalistes, à la recherche de lignes et formes géométriques épurées.

Mes pérégrinations photographiques m'amènent souvent à déclencher sur les même lieux en quête d'une lumière, d'une atmosphère. En effet, d'heure en heure, de jour en jour, aucun lieu n'offrira jamais le même visage. La photographie est là pour fixer l'éphémère. J'aime particulièrement cette citation de Roland Barthes qui résume bien ma vision de la photographie :

" Ce que la photographie reproduit à l'infini n'a lieu qu'une fois »

Actuellement, j'essaye d'explorer des univers plus abstraits, plus suggestifs.
